Inspired by consumer review sites like What's Good At Trader Joes and The Impulsive Buy, I started this blog to review all the Aldi products I was shoveling in my basket.
My Aldi obsession started a few years ago during a winter snowstorm. I really wanted homemade chicken noodle soup but all of the grocery store chickens were either gone or looked bad. I'd given up on finding one and was on my way home when someone told me I should check Aldi. One had opened up literally around the corner from my house but I'd never thought to go inside.
I was delighted to walk inside and see not only plenty of whole chickens but also fresh vegetables that looked fresher than what I'd seen in the other stores for half the cost. Needless to say, they found a new loyal shopper that day and I've been going regularly ever since.
I've always been into saving money and finding deals so I hope through this blog I can help someone make their pennies stretch a little further.
